The battery cell is specifically designed to operate well even in extreme temperature conditions. Allowing battery system to withstand a variety of climate conditions.

Durable Battery Life

CATL promises a maximum battery degradation of 20% after 8 years or 800,000 kilometres of usage. Overall improved battery State of Health (SOH) durability and longevity.

Liquid Cooling System

Battery temperatures are monitored and controlled using a liquid cooling system. Liquid cooling has the benefits of high cooling efficiency, uniform temperature distribution, and stable performance.



LOW ENTRY

CHASSIS


The main body of the bus is mated to a custom designed Low-Entry Chassis (LEC). The LEC provides enhanced ergonomics, improving overall comfort, accessibility, and safety.

The LEC layout ensures convenience and accessibility when boarding and disembarking the bus, particularly for individuals with physical disabilities. This design also complies with specific accessibility requirements set by the Australian Government's DDA (Disability Discrimination Act). The LEC chassis is perfectly complemented by our custom designed electrical wheelchair ramp. Offering a lowered ramp inclination angle that significantly simplifies wheelchair access like never before.

The utilisation of the LEC architecture significantly improves the overall handling and comfort features of the bus. The lower centre of gravity inherent in this chassis, significantly reduces any rocking or swaying motion of the bus body. As a result, passengers can be least assured with a safe and comfortable journey on the new C3.

We are firm believers in the impact of aesthetics and how they leave a lasting impression on individuals. Our objective is to produce buses that not only exhibit excellent performance but also exude style in the process. We strive to stay updated with the latest design trends in the automotive industry and incorporate them into our distinctive and innovative designs.

Similar to how one can easily identify the brand of a car from its appearance, the same level of recognition applies to an SKSBUS. The latest C3 model showcases a contemporary and fashionable design that is sure to capture the interest many.

Repair Architecture

MODULR


While durability is often considered a crucial factor for a quality city bus, we firmly believe that repairability holds equal significance. When our engineers designed the C3, they meticulously ensured that essential components of the bus's main structure and other critical parts were easily accessible and repairable, if necessary.

The exterior components of the C3 are thoughtfully designed to be integrated into smaller sections, resulting in a more efficient and cost-effective repair process. Additionally, the C3 offers the option of a graffiti-proof coating, which facilitates the easier removal of spray paint and other semi-permanent markings.

The implementation of the 'MOUDLR' architecture design provides companies with the assurance that any problems or accidents can be resolved with both effectiveness and efficiency.


Our city bus interiors are designed with ample space to ensure a comfortable journey for passengers. Thoughtful consideration is given to seat spacing, legroom, and standing areas to accommodate varying passenger capacities.

Passenger comfort is at the heart of the C3 interior design. We offer a range of seating options to cater to diverse preferences and needs. As standard we offer a comfortable and supportive plastic seating option. Plastic seats are resistant to wear, tear, and fading which makes them easy to maintain. Spills, stains, and dirt can be easily wiped away, ensuring that the seats remain hygienic and presentable for passengers.

With safety in mind, our interior design prioritises stability and guidance though the inclusion of sturdy handrails, slip-resistant flooring, and clear signage throughout the bus. Additionally, surveillance systems and emergency communication features provide peace of mind and a safe environment for all passengers.

Multiple emergency exits are implemented into the bus, each emergency exit is clearly marked with illuminated signage, making them easily identifiable even in low-light situations. They include, safety glass windows with a tungsten tip hammer, door emergency exit release and roof hatch emergency exit.

POWERTRAIN


Direct Drive PMSM

The vehicle is propelled by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) system. The PMSM has a variety of benefits over its Brushless DC Motor (BLDC) counterpart. PSMS offers improved efficiency, higher torque, and lower maintenance.

Dual Acting Shock Absorbers

A total of six dual-acting telescopic shock absorbers work cohesively with the air suspension system to further enhance comfort and driving characteristics. These shock absorbers reduce body roll, increases tire contact and traction and improves handling capabilities.

SAFETY


Customisable Battery Capacity

The total battery capacity of the vehicle is customisable according to specific applications. With seamless scalability, simply add or remove battery modules to adapt to the evolving needs of your operation.


Electronic Speed Limiter

The Electronic Speed Limiter is specially designed to control and limit the maximum speed in which the Bus can travel at. The electronic speed limiter promotes safer driving, mitigating the risks of exceeding speed limits.

Full Disc Brake System

The vehicle’s braking system consists of four disc brakes. Compared to conventional drum brakes, disc brakes offer superior stopping power, better heat dissipation, and a more precise braking feedback and control.

Air Suspension

The vehicle’s suspension system comprises of four, front and rear dual air-bellowed struts. Air suspension offers unparalleled comfort, giving a ‘float’ like feel, absorbing many of the roads vibrations.

Anti-Lock Braking System

The Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) prevents the wheels from locking up during hard braking situations. With ABS, the vehicle’s stopping distance is significantly reduced, even capable of performing well in wet, icy and uneven road conditions.

Regenerative Braking

Regenerative braking is made possible thanks to the PMSM system. Energy captured during the regenerative braking process is directly fed back into the vehicle’s batteries. With regenerative braking, the range is improved significantly, while placing less strain on the vehicle’s disc brakes.
